When was the last time you escaped your busy life to a stunning lone island to relax, reconnect, reflect, and renew?

True You Island Retreats are extended weekend wellness retreats at our spectacular North Point Retreat located on a lone island in the heart of the stunning Canadian Shield.

Individuals, couples, and groups of friends are welcome to join us for an easy, pressure-free, weekend of wellness and fun.

Participants arrive on Friday before 6pm and leave on Monday by noon.

This is your time to relax, de-stress, reflect, rest, rejuvenate, have fun, and connect with yourself, others, and stunning and sometimes dramatic nature.

The retreats are run by the kind and welcoming founders of True You Retreats, Jessica and Darek, and other True You facilitators.

Your participation in any activities is optional. You can hang out on your own and do your own things if you like, or you can join others for the activities of your choice.

Among possible weather-dependent activities are True You Circles, various meditation, mindfulness, yoga, or movement exercises, art-making, writing circles, reading, kayaking, paddle boarding, exploring the stunning nearby islands in electric boats, sauna or hot tub combined with cool dips, fishing, wildlife watching, and other activities. Or you can just catch up on relaxation, reflection, sleep, and rest.

To enhance everyone’s sensory experience, early parts of Saturdays and Sundays are silent. The silence will make your stay more relaxing, and help you deepen your reflective process.

We will provide boat transportation to and from the island, and two yummy vegan meals a day plus healthy snacks.

Rates

Why not take advantage of our all-inclusive introductory rates, which are currently priced below our operating costs at $750 per person or $1,350 per couple?

Restrictions & Cautions

  • No pets or children under 16. Birds nest on the island, and our facilities are not equipped to handle pets. The island terrain is raw, uneven, and unsafe for young children.
  • We also ask that you do not use alcohol or illegal substances during your stay.
  • We ask you do not bring your own perishable food, unless you have special dietary needs. Feel free to bring non-perishable food items. You will not have a fridge or kitchenette in your room, and we do not allow any food preparation or eating outside of the main kitchen area.
  • There are two shared bathrooms, two shared showers, and two shared washing stations.
  • This is wild nature, so we cannot guarantee good weather, or a bug-free environment. Also be prepared for possible high winds, rocky boat rides, pouring rain, loud thunderstorms, insane sunsets, blinding stars, and stunning northern lights.
